The name Broken Hammer Forge is a reference to Viking age Christianity. The company logo is a cross forged from a broken Thor’s hammer pendant. It represents the time when the vikings abandoned paganism and adopted Christianity. In the old days, Thor was one of their main gods and was particularly popular with the common man.
